I have been practicing law since 1996. The Law Offices of Wendy Raquel Hernandez, P.C. were founded in July 1999. My practice is focused in 2 areas: (1) all types of criminal cases, including murder and (2) Family law, including divorce, child custody, paternity, child support and enforcement disputes.

When I first opened my practice, I was alone and responsible for EVERYTHING in the business. I answered phones, typed documents, filed papers with the court, ordered supplies, drafted motions, and attended court.

My name is Tana Boersma and I am the Operations Manager of a Mortgage Bank with 4 branches serving borrowers in the Phoenix Valley . My name is Pat and before I started coaching with Steven I was unfocused, going in too many directions and not knowing which to pursue first.

If we did not take on coaching with Steven, we would have run ourselves down chasing circular paths. Diminished energy would have been very frustrating and we would not move forward in a straight path.

As Steven helped us to focus by getting us to verbalize what we wanted (what success would look like), why we were doing what we were doing, and how we were going to get where we now decided we were going.

Steven prepared a structure suited to us that we could work within on our own to keep going in the right way once we were sure what it looked like and that it was achievable.

Today, we have our CD produced and have signed a marketing agreement with options for more CD's. We have the business running profitably and it is growing nicely.  We have learned to not be lured into directions that are not in our plan and so we have been more successful and effective in the ones that are.

I am sure there are many people who feel they can mentor new or floundering businesses, but it takes a special talent to work with people who are unsure of themselves or their endeavor and to make the tools they need accessible and understandable.   And most of all, to listen to what the clients say and adapt a plan to suit them.  What good is a plan if it isn't something suited to the people who have to use it? Boilerplate plans are not what Steven throws out, rather he constructs what the clients specifically need.

Before I started coaching with Steven I was so busy just doing my usual routine work that I never stopped to think where I wanted to go and whated do I want to achieve. If I didn't take coaching on coaching I would stay in the same job doing the same things day in and day out.

Anybody who would have met me a year ago would by all accounts say that I had a great life - a stable and fun work environment, wonderfully loving and strong family relationships, and an amazingly connected friend network. I felt blessed to have abundance in my life and to be able to share that with others. My strongest character trait was (and still is) the desire to be of service to humanity.  

However, within how I carried out this purpose, I was constantly running, running, running around. While I could see the fruits of my efforts and felt very rewarded by them, I also noticed myself becoming chronically fatigued and worn down. I used to master playing the victim role, in a job situation that I hated and was beating myself up about being single.   I also had, and still have, a restless leg disorder.   I was on a path of always remaining in my "poor-me-ness.”

Through coaching with Steven I realized the effect my attitude was having on my quality of life.  He helped me become aware of my internal sabotage, as well as pinpoint the issues that needed my spiritual attention.

Throughout the process, Steven was very loving, while still detached professionally, and obviously connected with the spiritual realm.  He was sincerely concerned only for my well-being and his intuitive guidance that feeds it.

Although I still have the physical disorder with my legs, I have ACCEPTED this!  I have accepted that this may not allow me to carry a child, and eventually I even knew that I would be perfectly all right if I NEVER married.

I mostly noticed my new ability to see possibilities and to HOPE.  Although I saw my actions negatively affecting my life, I nonetheless was able to stop blaming myself.

If you knew me before, I was keeping all the love that is within my heart bottled up, I was afraid to show the love I have because I thought it was too intense for anyone.  I was not allowing myself the freedom to be. The freedom to be loved by myself.

If I kept going that way, I would have never allowed my family and friends to know the deep loving me!  I would never have allowed myself to truly feel the love that was in my heart.

I was dealing with a past relationship that was unhealthy and abusive.  I needed to build back my self-esteem and love for myself.  If I didn't start coaching I would still be in the same abusive, controlling relationship.
